Yeung Sousa 

Vice-President, Corporate Controller

Yeung Sousa is responsible for Xtrictech’s financial management, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting compliance, and corporate functions including treasury, audit, accounting, tax, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Barbara brings over 20 years of public company operational and financial experience in both commercial and financial businesses providing leadership in corporate forecasting & analytics, transactional accounting, daily operations, budget oversight & cost control functions, implementing reporting systems, compliance and controls.

Prior to joining Xtrictech in 2017, Barbara held executive and management roles at other innovation companies where she was instrumental in building out the finance business support capabilities and functions, as well as at Quebecor Media & World Printing, GE Capital, EY Montreal, and on the advisory boards of non-profit organizations.

Yeung Sousa is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in Canada and holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in the United States.
